1 · Your guests

Format: Name | Table (optional) | Group (optional). Guests with the same group, such as a couple or a family, are kept together when you auto-seat. You can also paste straight from Excel.
Excel: .xlsx files work. For older .xls, save as .xlsx or CSV first.

2 · Your tables

Leave blank for plain numbers. Names show next to the number.

3 · Look

4 · Arrange the seating

Drag a guest onto a table, or click a guest and then click a table. Click a guest and then the left-hand list to unseat them. Save plan downloads a small file you can reopen later.

5 · Print

For accurate sizes: in the print dialog choose paper A4, scale 100% (or “Actual size”), and margins None. Tent signs print best on 160 to 250 gsm card.

How to make a table seating chart

  1. Paste your guest list, or upload a CSV or Excel file. Add a group name for couples and families.
  2. Choose how many tables you have and how many seats each one holds. Add table names if you like.
  3. Press Auto-seat, then drag anyone who needs to move onto a different table.
  4. Print the seating plan, the find-your-table list and the table number signs on A4.

Can I save my plan and finish it later?

Yes. Save plan downloads a small file to your computer. Open plan loads it again with your seating intact.
