How to answer guest enquiries faster

  1. Fill in the welcome box with your property name and phone number, so every reply is ready to send.
  2. Paste a guest message into Triage and press Check message. Routine questions such as parking, dining, check-in and rates get an approved reply.
  3. Anything sensitive, such as allergies, accessibility, complaints or refunds, is marked Needs a person. Send the holding reply and pass it to a manager.
  4. Log the enquiry with its likely value and a follow-up date. The Revenue at risk tab shows what is still waiting.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Guest Enquiry Desk free?

Yes. This Lite edition is free with no sign-up. It includes five approved answers you can edit and a log of up to 25 enquiries. A Pro edition with more answers, property packs and CSV export is available in the YSEKventures Etsy shop.

Does it send messages or connect to my booking system?

No. It suggests a reply from wording you have approved and you copy and paste it into your email or messaging tool. It does not read your inbox and does not connect to a booking system.

Where is guest information stored?

Only in your own browser on your own device. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes it, so use Download backup in Settings now and then.

What does Needs a person mean?

Messages that mention allergies, accessibility needs, complaints, refunds, weddings, cancellations and similar topics are flagged for a member of staff, with a safe holding reply, even when a normal answer also matches.

How is revenue at risk worked out?

It adds up the value of open enquiries that have had no reply within your target response time, or whose follow-up date has passed. The values are your own estimates.

Will it work for B&Bs, pubs with rooms and holiday lets?

Yes. Edit the wording in Settings and Approved answers to suit your property. The Pro edition includes ready-made packs for hotels, B&Bs, pubs with rooms and holiday lets.
